On May 19-20, 2016, the 5th International Exhaust Emissions Symposium was held at our Institute.
It is already the fifth time that the leading experts in internal combustion engine exhaust emissions from the USA and Europe met at BOSMAL, this time discussing the American and European road to low-emission car manufacture, the latest trends in regulations and emission testing methods in the US, Europe and Asia, development of car engines, fuels and engine oils. The symposium was attended by representatives of the European Commission and the US Department of Energy, leading global automotive and fuel companies, research institutes, technical universities and international institutions. The symposium featured representatives of over 50 companies and institutions from 20 countries on three continents. Media patronage included: Combustion Engines journal published by PTNSS, DieselNet Canada and gazeo.pl - a website dedicated to LPG systems in cars. The conference materials were published in the form of "Symposium Proceedings" on a CD. Together with a video report from the symposium on the DVD, a special issue of Combustion Engines (3/2016) with articles and presentations was published. DieselNet (Canada) prepared a report from the symposium, which was sent to over ten thousand subscribers of this website in the world. There was also a report from the symposium in Przegląd Techniczny, gazeo.pl and the BOSMAL and PTNSS websites.
